The end of my first term back in Missouri has come about and have a lot of new artwork to add to this website. Will come about as soon as I have pictures of all my work gathered into one, convenient folder on my desktop. Just trying to keep this website from looking as dead as it probably is.

End of Year Show

Well, the end of year isn’t scheduled yet, but apparently the faculty is aiming for some place in Cardiff Bay for the week of May 10th. Maybe? Needless to say, I am totally stoked. Now, all I have to do is actually make some artwork that could presented at the end of the year. Shouldn’t be too hard, right?

Oh yeah… Need to do some more of those. But I have a plan! And my tumblr is helping me immensely!

Fixed the few little issues Heather had with my site in class. Changed it to ‘Interview with the artist‘ rather than just ‘Interview with Artist’. I rather thought they both got the point across equally well, except one is shorter. But it’s no secret that Americans and the British have different ways of abusing the English language. Also added images to several pages that were looking rather sad and wordy without them. Had a bit of fun scrounging through photographs and, when not finding on that was appropriate, using my webcam to the best of its abilities.

Now, I need to find some more pictures so that my first page does not welcome artsy types with all these despicable words.

There we go.

I’m super excited to say that I think my website is nearing completion! Of course, more artwork and sections will be added as I go along. But the bulk of the work is done, and I do believe it’s ready to be presented tomorrow. This was surprisingly fun to do, even if all the fiddling with layouts and formatting got a bit tedious. But who am I kidding, I mess around on computers all day. Though, don’t get me wrong, I am not averse to continue tweaking this thing. I know it’s not perfect…yet.

Have seriously updated a lot of the webpage today, probably since I have to present it tomorrow. Added work to the Personal Work page. Also added a new page called Sketches, which also has pictures posted. Added three pages for my Exhibition Reviews.

Attempting to update the Interview with Artist page, but the text formatting is being highly uncooperative. (Edit: formatting fixed!)

Fixed the links on the Artwork pages, as some were heading to pages that no longer exist.

Have added actually pictures of my artwork and descriptions in the categories of Alternative Museum, Self Directed, and Digital. Personal Work will be added shortly.

Updated my Statement of Intent to better reflect what I am currently working on. May also add another statement for my photography module if I feel that it is relevant, though since I don’t have any work yet to post this seems a bit unnecessary. We shall see.

Also added links to the various websites I am a member of to my Profile page.

The Artwork page has also seen some updating, though at the moment the links just connect to blank pages. I still haven’t actually put artwork up on my art website. Except the header, of course. I’m quite proud of that one, actually.

Changed the sidebar, I think the sections are now more appropriately arranged.

Change the name of “about” to Profile and “other” to Secondary Research.

Secondary Research has now been added to the list of pages currently in progress.

Added several new pages to the sidebar. Pages that have been updated include the Curriculum Vitae, About, and Statement of Intent. The Interview page is still in progress. The sidebar may be rearranged at a later date, we’ll see.

Also updated the header to something that fits the colour scheme of this site a bit better.
